About Puma – Kambo Practitioner & Healing Guide
Puma has dedicated the past 20 years to her personal healing journey, focusing on learning how to connect with the body and heal from generational trauma. This lifelong work has led her to a profound understanding of holistic healing, which she now shares with others. Through her nature-based work with children, plant and animal medicine journeys, and inner child therapy, Puma offers a sacred space for deep self-love, healing, and acceptance.
As a certified Kambo practitioner, Puma combines ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques to guide her clients toward emotional and physical healing. Since beginning her Kambo journey in 2016, Puma has continued to deepen her expertise in this powerful medicine. In January 2021, she received her Kambo practitioner certification through Certified Kambo Practitioners International (CKPI). Puma works exclusively with Kambo medicine sourced from the Matses people of the Amazon Basin, ensuring its authenticity and potency.
Puma’s healing practice integrates a variety of transformative modalities, including Kambo ceremonies, Talking Circles, empathetic listening, and inner child therapy. These methods help clients uncover and heal the root causes of emotional holding patterns, trauma, and pain.
Her journey in healing began in 2008 when she earned her massage certification from the Institute for Psycho-Structural Balancing in Los Angeles. From 2010 to 2012, she trained at the Institute for Humanistic Education in Los Angeles, specializing in Non-Violent Communication, reflective listening, conflict resolution, and boundary-setting with preschool-aged children and their families. This experience deeply informs her unique approach to Kambo ceremonies and holistic healing, especially her ability to foster profound connections with the inner child.
Puma believes that healing is a sacred responsibility, not only for personal well-being but for the Earth and all her inhabitants. Her work is a deep commitment to creating positive change through self-healing and collective growth.
She currently resides in Austin, TX, with her loving family.
